Hannah and Trevor became one this past Tuesday after they eloped along Trail Ridge Road at the 3m Curve in Rocky Mountain National Park. Estes Park, Colorado is the cutest little town and the park was absolutely breathtaking. It was such a joy and honor to be there capturing each and every moment of their intimate, gorgeous day filled with just the two of them and their love for one another. Their day held so many sweet moments that I will never forget. Guys, if you’re thinking about eloping, do it. 100%. Pick a place, find a dress, select a bouquet, grab your groom and just go. Hannah and Trevor were able to simply soak in every second of being together on their wedding day, without the stresses of planning a big celebration or saying hi to each and every guest. Just remember to bring me along with you so I can sneak shots of those intimate moments your elopement will be filled with!

Here’s the inside scoop about Hannah and Trevor and their perfect week-day June elopement:

They met in Middle School and dated the summer going into 6th grade (and for a bit during the school year!). They were each others first kiss, which is THE absolute cutest. Hannah said that they ‘broke up’ but remained really good friends until they started dating again their senior year!

For spring break of their senior year of college, they went to the Bahamas. They had a favorite palm tree they fell in love with the last time they were there. She said that “Trevor made it seem like we were doing family pictures by the tree before dinner, but we went down early… he asked a worker to take our picture by the tree then got down on one knee and asked me to be his wife. I was totally shocked and had no idea it was coming at all!”

These two absolutely adore their dog, Coco. They spend many hours playing with her, taking her to play fetch and swim. They even travel a few hours to take her to see her big sister, Chigger! Hannah and Trevor also love anything outdoors, which is why they decided to elope in Rocky Mountain National Park. After their ceremony and adventuring around with me for some photos, they quick changed into their athletic gear to get some hiking done before the day was done! The two of them also love the chips and salsa from Chilis, which just happens to be MY favorite restaurant salsa. They have such a good sense of taste, am I right?!

As for Hannah’s wedding dress, she said it was the third one that she tried on! She just went with a couple friends because she wasn’t wanting a huge crowd. She loved her dress as soon as she put it on because she felt it was beautiful, simple and perfect for the mountains (she was so right!).

Want to know why Hannah and Trevor chose to elope, without any of their friends and family around them? Here’s the scoop: “We really wanted to spend our wedding day stress free and be able to focus on each other and what our wedding symbolizes. We enjoyed being able to spend the day with no worries and focus simply on each other!” Friends, THIS. So true and so good.

I’m not going to lie, the 3m Curve on Trail Ridge Road was preeeetty tricky to find – luckily, I had gone to Rocky Mountain National Park the day prior to their elopement to scope out the area so I knew exactly where to go on the day of their wedding. Hannah rode with me over to the park after her hair and make-up appointment so that they could do a first look before the start of the ceremony. However, Trevor got lost on his way to the 3m Curve! He entered the park the back way and was given wrong directions by one of the rangers, resulting in him being late to their wedding. Hannah, being so laid back and go with the flow, kept her cool and patiently waited for him to find her. She handled it with so much grace and ease. Trevor finally arrived after the start time of the ceremony, which leads me to Hannah’s favorite moment of their day. She said that her favorite moment was when she was able to watch him walk down to her standing by the officiant. Hannah said that he was so nervous, flustered and out of breath but all that he could say when get got to where she was standing was “Oh my gosh, you look so beautiful.” Guys, swoon. Isn’t that the sweetest? Her advice to another couple is even wrapped into this little story of their day: “Plan ahead by finding your site beforehand if you aren’t too familiar, even if you think you may be!”. Other than that, she had no advice because it was she said it was truly perfect. Perfect is even how she summed up their day into three words: “The perfect day.” That it was, Mrs. Huber.
