Jessica and Ben had the absolute most adventurous sand dune engagement photos, after a super long and crazy road (literally!) to finally have these pictures taken.

We were originally planning to meet up this past November for their engagement session, but just after I arrived at the location I received a text from them saying that their engine had blown up, they were going to need a tow truck and would have to reschedule. We pushed their session back a few months to the middle of January and were all so excited to finally meet up to do their engagement photos. Get this – just after they pulled into the parking lot, they hit a pothole and popped a tire! We decided to go ahead and take their photos while we had daylight, and then later changed their tire in the parking lot by headlamp, all while having some boxed wine and getting to know one another even more.

Ben and Jessica danced the night away on the dunes, running up and down the hills making  new memories together and reminiscing on old ones. The two of them are some of the most kind, fun people and ones that I’m so grateful to have met and spent time with. I have no doubt that their engagement session won’t be the last time that we see one another!
