A cliffside arizona elopement in Sedona was the PERFECT setting for Lauren and Nathan’s day. Lauren said: “Originally, we had planned to have a wedding in Mexico with all of our friends and family from Australia but COVID-19 changed all of that. Given that we have no idea when we will be able to get back home or our friends and family will be able to travel here, we decided to elope and it was the best decision we could have made. “
These babes met through mutual friends a few years back, at a New Years music festival near Sydney, Australia! They spent the whole three days together watching different bands and swimming in the river. They then later got engaged whilst on a weekend away. They were staying in a villa with beautiful ocean views situated on a horse riding farm. On the day they got engaged, they went for a coastal hike through a national park and when they got to a look-out at the top of a cliff, Nathan proposed. Afterwards, they walked down the cliff to a secluded beach and went for a swim together!
Although Lauren and Nathan had never been to Sedona before, they thought it looked like such a unique and breathtaking location, and ended up choosing it for their elopement day location. They said: “Our favorite parts of our day were our ‘first look’ and saying our vows. We couldn’t pick just one moment. Both moments were very emotional and intimate. There literally wasn’t another soul around. It was just us and the red rocks and it was really special to be able to express exactly how we felt with no one else to hear.”
