Liz and her Mom Donna drove from Mahomet, Illinois to visit my hubby and I for the weekend a few weeks back! Matt and I have known Donna and Liz since 2012. We first got to know one another through their involvement in the student ministry at our church back in Illinois! Donna and Liz are very near and dear to us, so when they asked if they could come visit us for the weekend for me to take senior pictures of Liz in Forest Park, we were so excited!
Liz, Donna and I headed to St. Louis to snag some beautiful pictures of Liz in Forest Park to celebrate the fact that she is going into her LAST year of high school. It is so crazy to me that she is about to be in college – she was so young when Matt and I first got to know her! Needless to say, I had an incredible time with her and her Momma throughout their time in St. Louis.
Alright y’all, I have all the details about Liz’s dream job, her most memorable moment of high school and the three words that she uses to sum herself up (plus a picture of her beautiful saxophone!). Check it all out below!
Liz has been involved in marching band throughout high school. In fact, her most memorable moment so far was when she traveled to Arizona with the entire marching band to play in a parade! Sounds like a fun trip, am I right?! (Although, I am partial with being an Arizona native!) Liz said that though she hasn’t experienced senior year, she’s pretty sure it will be her most favorite! Liz is planning on pursuing her dream job to be an Interior Designer and would love to attend Souther Illinois University Carbondale to get her degree! Liz can’t wait to live on her own, but is dreading the classes that come with going to college.
As I mentioned, Liz holds a special place in my heart since she was so involved in the student ministry that my husband and I were apart of. I feel like I’ve been able to watch her grow up, which has been the absolute best! Liz sums herself up by saying that she is weird, outgoing and caring – I know all of that to be true! She is weird, outgoing and caring in the absolute best ways possible. Liz is the kind of girl that doesn’t shy away from being herself and speaking her mind, which is so rare these days. I know she is going to do incredible things.
