Enzo and Brittany spent their Mesa, Arizona engagement session dancing to tunes, popping champagne, hiking up hillsides, drinking beer and getting cozy in their 1971 Chevrolet blue pickup truck. I know I say this all the time, but I genuinely feel that my clients become sweet friends of mine, especially after we spend time together for their engagement session. It was so much fun adventuring around with them, getting to know the two of them, talking about their story and upcoming wedding.
These cuties met at Northern Arizona University, when they were both working at a country club for the summer. Enzo said that he couldn’t help but notice that Brittany was wearing an apron during a training, that had nothing to do with food. He said that he had to give her a hard time about it and that they haven’t stopped laughing about it since! They got engaged this past December on a trip to Breckinridge. Here’s the full proposal story, straight from Brittany and Enzo:
“We planned a trip to Breckinridge in the middle of December couldn’t have been more excited. Our room was perfect, the flights were cheap and the snow was perfect! We had a friend up there that was going to be skiing with us the whole time. Little did Brittany know that he had a major part to do with the whole proposal! When Jamie ended up hurting himself badly on the first day of their trip, Brittany had no idea that I was freaking out a bit inside – my partner in crime for the proposal was out for the count. Saturday started and we had the best day, perfect conditions and all smiles. When we finally made it over to the lift that was going to take us to the top of the mountain, we started sharing how blessed we are in life and how much we appreciated each other. Brittany was dying to take a picture at the top so I was feeling very positive about the situation – just upset that I had no photographer lined up. Brittany scouted out a kind soul that was willing to snap the picture – after a couple photos, Brittany went to go ask for the phone back when I said, “Wait, one more…” I then got down on one knee and asked her to spend the rest of her life with me. Luckily, our kind stranger was happy to continue snapping photos of the big moment and it all turned out for the better.”
Brittany and Enzo love spending time snowboarding and taking weekend trips. They love to try new food and do some wine and beer tasting and are planning to one day travel to Europe, Snowboard in Swiss Alps and Japan, get their first dog together.
The two of them are the absolute sweets, most laid-back people. Their desert engagement session in Mesa was truly the best.
