I hiked up a mountain with these Florida babes (plus her sister!) for their mountaintop Sedona engagement session and DANG was it a party! We jammed to tunes, drank some beer, talked all about some of their past memories together and soaked in every second of those epic views.
Kelsey and Eric met at a party while in college at UNF in Jacksonville, FL! “I (Kelsey) recognized Eric from back home in Melbourne and realized we went to the same preschool and elementary school. Eric asked for my number and the rest is history!”
Here’s how Eric later proposed: “I (Kelsey) got home from work and Eric really, really wanted to go to the beach. He had a cooler full of beer packed along with the ring. I had just got the news that we would have to start remote teaching and I was tired from work so I was stubborn and really didn’t want to go. Eric improvised and still decided to do it that night. We were playing darts and drinking wine on our back porch when Eric went into the backyard. I wasn’t paying attention to what he was doing because I was texting with coworkers. When he came back in and gave me a rose from our rose bush and the ring slid off into my hand from the stem. I was so surprised I thought he was joking at first because it was so unexpected. But he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. Of course I said yes and we celebrated by drinking more wine! It was so perfect and intimate, I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way.”
Eric and Kelsey said that they’ve had so many amazing adventures together so far, but one that they have loved most was going on a surfing trip with their friends to Nicaragua – they even got to hike a volcano and sand board down it! They’re planning to eventually go to Australia in the future, and have a very laid back and go with the flow kind of wedding day.
I know I say this a lot, but I genuinely had such a fun time with them for their mountaintop Sedona engagement session! I’m beyond stoked for Kelsey and Eric with this awesome season they’re now in, of being engaged.
