Lauren and Max were two adventurers at heart, so it was no surprise when they decided to elope and get married in the mountains. They chose Mount Baker as the location for their wedding, which is a popular hiking destination. This North Cascades Elopement was a dream!
Their friends and family gathered at Picture Lake for a small ceremony, then they hiked up Mount Baker together as husband and wife. It was a beautiful day, with blue skies overhead and snow-capped mountains surrounding them on all sides.
See more of this beautiful North Cascades elopement in Washington below! Here’s their story:
“We met at the gym. Our first conversation centered around completing a triathlon, which we later trained for and completed together. We became close friends prior to officially dating. We’ve now been together for over 7 years.”
“In the back of our minds, we always knew that having a bigger, more traditional wedding wasn‘t for us.
While we did explore different opportunities, we kept coming back to the idea of an elopement. Not only
did eloping offer an amazing, simplistic way to celebrate our love, but it was also a day filled with adventure—and it was undoubtedly an adventure we will never forget. Plus, thanks to Allison, the whole experience was entirely stress–free!”
“It was an incredible day and it‘s impossible to choose one favorite part. Highlights include our ceremony at Picture Lake, hiking up to Table Mountain and seeing phenomenal views of snow-covered Mount Baker, enjoying one another‘s company as the sun set, and witnessing the alpenglow linger over Mount Shuksan as we had our first dance. Getting to meet and work with Allison was also a bonus.”
This was the most beautiful experience I have ever had. Thank yo my so Max and Lauren, for having such a vision.
Allison we love you.
Thank you so much!!! It was such an incredible day!
