Petra and John wanted to special day without the pressure and stress of a big wedding. They knew eloping and having their intimate wedding in Sedona was the right choice for them! The stunning views, red rocks, and grand cliffs were surreal and gave them the magical experience that celebrated their love.

HOW THEY MET

Petra said: “We met at the produce section of Sprouts, we were both awkwardly looking at the chard greens wondering how to cook it. He likes to think he is the initiator of the relationship so he asked what my favorite dish was to pair with the greens and then asked if I’d be willing to cook it with him one day… HAHA just kidding. We met on good old fashion bumble. Although, my “girl message first” response was a winner.”

WHY ELOPE?

“The day is meant to be intimate and special between the two of us, we did not want the pressure of hosting a large wedding or the unnecessary stress of a wedding. We both wanted to fully enjoy the day and each other in a private, intimate way.”

FAVORITE PART OF THEIR DAY

“Honestly, taking a moment at the top of the mountain to just chit chat and catch up on our day. We absolutely loved watching the sunset together and saying our vows! The reception was also a blast, getting to reconnect with family and enjoy our time by the fire pit with churros and wine. It was such a beautiful day, we wouldn’t have changed one single thing!”
